"It is not really within my DNA to follow the traditional route, I tend to be more of a trailblazer. True to form, my wedding dress had to be something different in style and meaning. I reached out to Rose Riemersma to design a dress that would feel comfortable, hide flaws and look beautiful. I also wanted it to be made from repurposed clothing items. The dress you see here is made from a vintage skirt I love and dress I found, along with some surplus material from Rose. I think it came out lovely. In one stroke I was able to have something old become something new with splashes of blue. Thank you Rose!"
